7 Directives Videos

This study is the next phase into our spiritual growth. When we look into this topic matter on Purpose we are speaking about 7 fundamental reasons that God has called us into His glorious Kingdom.

Most people that enter the Kingdom seek immediately for a place or position. Enthusiastically, they want to get ministry going because they recognize the need to begin working in God's Kingdom. Wonderful! But here lies the problem...they bypass elementary directives exposed in scripture in which every believer should adhere to in order to be successful in their ministries unto the Lord.

Many believers have fallen away or caused others to fall away because they failed to understand the fudamental reasons of the call. As Christians, we have been called or rather predestined for one thing in this life and that is “to conform to the image of the Son”!

...For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called...Rom 8:28,29

The Christian must understand one simple truth. We have been called out of the world’s system of confusion and dismay in order to expose the very nature of God himself to those still trapped within that system. The more we are conformed into the image of Christ we expose His nature. As we yield ourselves to this process of conformity, our personal identity is changed to reveal Christ in us. We now understand that our purpose lies within the diversity of directives commanded for us within His Word. When we look into the Word of God we discover that we have been purposed:

  • To Bring Glory to God
  • To Proclaim His Praises while living a life of Worship
  • To Bear Fruit
  • To Love One Another
  • To Preach the Gospel
  • To Make Disciples
  • To Serve One Another
  • When we perform the aforementioned we not only expose the nature of God but we also fulfill His ultimate purpose which is to, "conform us to the image of His Son!"
